Recorded at practice on a Zoom H4. The band stopped playing before finishing this song. It is my favorite song that this band wrote, even unfinished. A few mistakes here and there, but this was really new to us. This was one of the more difficult songs to play, and the first riff took awhile to map out. This song contains riffs that I am proud of, some of my personal favorites. I may end up stealing some stuff from this song for current/future projects. At the end, when the song fades down, and a new riff comes in, that was a different recording that was edited to the end of the file. It was an idea for a potential ending riff. I think we utilized dynamics well in this song, probably better than the other jams we had.

Water Escapes the Tide Shady Grove, Pennsylvania

Water Escapes the Tide was formed shortly after Beyond Fatal disbanded. It was comprised of Adam, Joe and myself. Practices occurred 1-2 times a month in my shed (the current home of Brother Ox) and we never played out. This band was pre-Jupiter's Wake and Black Materia.
